Konall Culture Exchange, Shijiazhuang:
If you are serious about learning Mandarin Chinese in a true immersion environment, Konall Culture Exchange (KCE) is the school for you! Located in Shijiazhuang (just 2 hours by train south of Beijing), KCE offers fully-accredited, intensive one-to-one programs in the Mandarin language, Chinese culture, and history. Shijiazhuang is the capital and largest city of North China's Hebei Province, and is an ideal location for total Mandarin immersion due to a lack of foreign influence which has resulted in an undiluted culture and language environment.

Mandarin Chinese Language Programs:

Monthly Intensive Chinese Program:
- 20 hours of private Mandarin lessons per week

Our intensive Mandarin language program is offered all year round and is ideal if you want to rapidly improve your Mandarin language skills in the shortest time possible.

You will receive 4 hours of private 1-to-1 classes per day, just you and the teacher. This type of program is intense, with an individually tailored curriculum that specifically addresses your own goals for studying Chinese.

You may choose to cover all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) or use class time to focus on the the areas that are most important to you. Each student is pushed to learn as much as they can in the time that they have.  

Since you will be your teacher’s only student you’ll have a lot of control over your classes, if there's any specific language point you wish to focus on just tell your teacher and they'll be happy to oblige.

Our monthly intensive program offers a great deal of flexibility and you are free to choose your own start date and length of stay. 

We'd love to design a custom program for you that meets your goals for studying in China for any start date, accommodation package, or length of stay.

HSK Exam Preparation Programs:
Duration: 4 - 44 weeks

The HSK Chinese language test is a standardized exam used for measuring student’s proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and encompasses all four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening). 

It is often a requirement for those who wish to work in China or study at a Chinese university or other third-level institution.

KCE HSK exam preparation programs last between 4 and 44 weeks in duration and cater to all levels of Chinese ability - from beginner to advanced. 

Our team of experienced instructors provides each student with a comprehensive, results driven course that will have you ready to take the test in the shortest time possible.

At KCE, all classes are conducted on a 1-to-1 basis to maximize students exposure to the language and ensure you get the attention needed to realize your language goals.

Business Chinese Classes:
Learn the Chinese language skills you require for effective interpersonal communication in the Chinese workplace.

With 4 hours per day of private Chinese lessons, this course focuses on practical, real life language used when conducting business in China.

You will also learn strategies for successfully navigating the often complex cultural aspects involved when interacting with Chinese business counterparts. Because you learn through private lessons, the course curriculum can be tailored to your specific needs and learning goals.

You will be provided with all your books and study materials; visa and travel assistance and 24 hours a day support. You will also be included in all KCE family gatherings and other activities.

Chinese Culture Exchange Program:
Our Culture Exchange Program is a combined Chinese language and culture course comprising two hours per day of private 1-to-1 language classes with one hour per day of Chinese cultural activities.

It allows students to gain a deep insight into all aspects of Chinese culture while also building a solid foundation in the language and is ideal if you who want a slightly less intensive course of study.

Chinese culture classes are available in a variety of subjects including:

- Chinese calligraphy
- Chinese cooking
- Chinese history and philosophy
- Traditional Chinese musical instruments
- Tai Chi
- Gong Fu / Wu Shu
- Chinese paper cutting
- Water painting

Study and Travel Tours:
KCE group immersion programs provide students with a comprehensive Chinese language and culture study experience that builds a solid foundation in the language while increasing global awareness and sparking interest in a country rich in history and culture that is rapidly advancing into the 21st century.

The program consists of 3 parts – Language, Culture and Travel, each of which can be tailored to your groups specific requirements.

Students will see first-hand, the dynamic mixture of traditional and modern elements that have helped thrust China to the forefront of global affairs.

Internship (Work and Study) Programs:
- Duration: 1-9 months

We have partnered up with a wide range of domestic and international companies to offer our students exciting internship positions in a variety of fields including - telecommunications, law, HR, hospitality, international trade, software development and many more.

Both compensated and non-paid internships are available. You can choose to take a Mandarin-speaking or an English-speaking position. Internship Program features include:
