Taking an intensive German course in Germany is the most effective way to improve your German language skills quickly. With 11 German language schools throughout Germany, the Goethe-Institut provides a wide range of year-round German language programs to adults, teenagers, and college students from around the world. Intensive German Course:
2, 4 & 8 week study options. 25 units of instruction per week, each lasting 45 minutes.  

With a maximum of 16 students per class, you will be taught exclusively in German from the very first class.

The intensive course program focuses fully on your success as a learner. You will learn German systematically in a group matched to your language level - from beginner to advanced students.

Our intensive courses are systematically laid out, with each course building on the contents of the previous level.

You can combine the Intensiv 8 and Intensiv 4 courses for an extensive language learning stay that lasts several months.

At the end of your course you can take one of our German language examinations, which are recognised around the world.

In addition to our quality German language classes, we provide an exciting cultural and recreational programme puts you in touch with the country and its people.

Further Intensive German Courses:
- Deutsch 50 Plus: 2-week course for people in the best years of their lives. 40 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
- Vario Course: Minimum duration: 1 week. Participants are integrated into existing groups matching their level.
- Intensive 2 - Language and Culture: 2 weeks. 50 units of instruction (45 minutes each)
