CMC Makeup Workshop in Yucatan:
Immerse yourself in global makeup and beauty through a short and highly educational makeup workshop in the picturesque seaside state of Yucatan in Mexico! At CMC School in Progreso Beach (just 30 minutes north of the city of Merida and 4 hours east of Cancun), we are delighted to provide a unique one week makeup workshop taught by beauty industry expert Stephanie Flor from the USA. Based in Dallas, Houston & Austin, Texas, CMC Makeup School is highly-established education provider of in-depth make-up artist certification programs & portfolio development for beginners to advanced artists. This one-week makeup & beauty workshop will be hosted on the beautiful beaches of Progreso (just 30 minutes north of the city of Merida and 4 hours east of Cancun). We welcome U.S. and international beauticians, makeup artists and alternative vacation travelers to our global makeup workshop.

Features include:
• Learning from highly-regarded makeup artist Stephanie Flor in a tropical paradise
• Unique classes with Stephanie, including live makeup demos inspired by global beauty.
• Practice & learn striking makeup looks          
• Participate in makeup work for the world famous “Dia De Los Muertos” (Day of the Dead)
• Create "Day of the Dead" looks for an end of day location photoshoot

Progreso Beach is a tranquil fishing town in the state of Yucatan (just 30 minutes north of the popular city of Merida - which has been in many tourism and travel articles for its safety, architecture, food, and was voted the #1 place to retire in Forbes Magazine!).

Progreso Beach is very peaceful with warm ocean waters, and comfortably warm weather usually all year round. Our school is located directly across from the boardwalk, where students can walk to restaurants and shops.


Accommodation & Transport:
The closest airport is Merida, just 30 minutes from our school location. Cancun is another potential airport option.

If you choose to fly into Cancun, there is a comfortable 3.5 hour bus option to bring you to Merida. We are happy to give you information on traveling that route should it work better for you.

We offer room and board, and pick you up / drop you off from/to the airport for all of our workshops here, so the hiring of a vehicle is not needed by our students. 

Double queen bedrooms will be shared with 2 students per room.
