Kaplan International San Diego:
Kaplan International offer summer English programs in Downtown San Diego, California for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18. Our summer English courses take place at our campus in the Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego. Our summer ESL programs for juniors include 15 English classes per week, a full summer activity program plus excursions and homestay accommodation with an American host family.

Summer English Courses for Teens:
Kaplan International offer summer ESL programs for teenagers aged between 14 and 18 which include:

• 15 hours of English lessons per week for students with beginner, intermediate or advanced levels of English
• A full social activity program with excursions
• Homestay accommodation with an American host family or residential accommodation on the SDSU campus


Activities & Excursion Program:
Our students will have a minimum three activities per week during the summer English class in San Diego.

One full-day excursion at weekends is also offered as well as optional excursions (for which extra charges apply) that you can take in between your English studies. Summer activities and San Diego excursions may include:

- Beach Volleyball:
San Diego has many white, sandy beaches which are perfect for a game of volleyball with your classmates.

- BBQ's:
Our summer English schools in San Diego take advantage of the sunny weather by organising frequent BBQ's in the summer.

- Seaworld and San Diego Zoo:
Trips to Seaworld and San Diego Zoo are a must for all visitors studying in San Diego. See land and see animals perform amazing stunts for your entertainment.

- Six Flags Magic Mountain:
Visit the 260-acre park featuring world-class roller coasters and over 100 rides, games and attractions.

San Diego enjoys a superb coastal setting with some of the Pacific's best beaches, renowned recreational parks and a near-perfect climate. A wealth of restaurants and shops are available to our international students in attractive, safe surroundings.

Homestay Accommodation - Live With a Local Family:
Homestay accommodation with an American host family is offered to students attending the Kaplan English school in San Diego. Single and twin rooms with friendly and welcoming homestay hosts.

14 meals are provided per week - breakfast and dinner each day. Students and group leaders receive a free public transport pass for the duration of their summer English study program in San Diego.
