The Sagemont School:
The Sagemont School, located in Weston, South Florida, is a private upper school offering programs to students from grade 6 through 12. The Sagemont school is not a traditional boarding school and does not offer on-campus residential facilities. Instead, through our homestay program international students stay with a local American family for the school year.

Students of our international program come from a wide range of countries, including China, South Korea, Japan, Bahamas, South America, Croatia, Germany, Scandinavia and more. The Sagemont School has well established contacts with quality Colleges and Universities in Florida and the south east region.

International Student Homestay Program:

Many of our international students choose to begin studying with The Sagemont School in grade 8 and graduate, proficient in English, ready and prepared for college life in the USA.

Living with a home-stay family offers the excitement of study abroad in the security of a family setting. You become be a part of another culture as your new family becomes an integral part of your life experiences.

Homestay families experience the intricacies of a foreign culture while developing life long friendships with foreign students. You will become a part of your homestay family for the school year. They become your guardians, confidants and can guide you in your new environment.

Accreditation:

The Sagemont School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) which validates our curriculum as college prepartory.

Additionally, we are also accredited bGeneral Contact Pagey the Association of Independent Schools of South Florida (AISF) which identifies us as one of the premier private schools.

Uniforms:
All students at The Sagemont School are required to wear uniforms. We feel uniforms project a positive image to the community and are cost-effective for parents.

Administration reserves the right to determine if the dress is appropriate for the school environment. Full dress code is in effect on campus daily from time of arrival to time of dismissal or 6:00 p.m., whichever comes first.

Upper School Location:

Photos of The Sagemont SchoolWe are located in Weston, Florida. Weston is part of the South Florida metro area, more commonly South Florida, which encompasses the Miami–Fort Lauderdale–Pompano Beach Metropolitan Area in the southeastern part of Florida.

From middle school through high school graduation, at the Upper School Campus, Sagemont students choose from a variety of regular, honors and AP course work.

In addition, students share in a networked wireless laptop environment and participate in a comprehensive guidance program for college entrance.

College Preparation Counselling:

At The Sagemont School, College Counseling is an important part of the educational experience. Our goal is to help students and families make the right college choice decisions based on their interests and goals.

The College Counselor meets and develops a relationship with each student and family, providing practical and emotional support during the college search, application, and decision process.

As a liaison between The Sagemont School and college admissions officers, the College Counselor communicates college admission trends and developments and provides timely information about the admission process.
