Consular services provided by the Algerian Embassy in Netherlands:

• Issuance of visas;
• Registration of Algerian citizens abroad;
• Issuance of ID cards;
• Issuance/renewal of passports;
• Issuance of a travel passport for Algerian citizens who lost their passports abroad, so they could return to Algeria;
• Legalization of documents;
• Issuance of mandates or power of attorney documents;
• Issuance of civil status certificates (death, marriage, birth);
• Transfer of property of a deceased;
• Transfer of bodily remains of a deceased;
• Issuance of certificates of change of residence;

To enter Algeria a visa is needed. Applications for a visa must be submitted at the Algerian Embassy.

What is required when applying for a tourist visa:

• Original passport signed and with at least six months validity;
• Two visa application forms, electronically typed, completed and signed (applications with missing information will be delayed);
• Two 2x2 inches recent passport size photographs (no laser copies, white background);
• A copy of the flight itinerary (it is advised not to purchase a ticket until visa is granted);
• Proof of accommodations (confirmed hotel reservations);
• Return postage, a return airway bill;
• Paid Embassy fee;
• Travel insurance.

Visa processing time is 10 days.

The Embassy is closed on Mondays and public holidays.
