The Australian Embassy in Warsaw is the representative office of the Australian Government resident in Poland and accredited to the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine.

Australian Embassy in Poland provides the following services:

  • Issues passports;
  • Registers Australian overseas;
  • Deals with taxation issues;
  • Issues birth, marriage and death certificates;
  • Issues police clearances;
  • Provides authentication and apostille services;
  • Issues visas;
  • Registers children as Australian citizens;
  • Allows Australian citizens abroad to participate in electoral events.

Australian citizens must report the loss or theft of their passport online or at the nearest Australian diplomatic or consular mission as soon as possible.

Citizens of Poland require a visitor visa to visit Australia for up to 3 months at a time within a 12-month period.  Applicants need to provide documents to support their application for the visa. Documents not in English must be accompanied by accredited English translations.

Visitor visa requirements:

  • A completed application form.
  • Paid visa application charge.
  • Certified copies of the biographical pages of the current passports or travel documents of all people included in the application.
  • One recent passport sized photograph (45 mm x 35 mm) of each person included in the application.
  • A certified copy of evidence of the name change (if applicant's name has changed).
  • Certified copies of birth certificates for the applicant and any other person included in the application.
  • If anyone included in the application has served in the armed forces of any country: certified copies of their military service record or discharge papers.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds, such as personal bank statements, pay slips, audited accounts, taxation records or credit card limit.
  • Itinerary for the stay in Australia.
  • Other information to show that the applicant has an incentive and authority to return his/her home country.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays.
