Australian Embassy in Poland provides the following services:

  • Registers children as Australian citizens;
  • Allows Australian citizens abroad to participate in electoral events.

Australian citizens must report the loss or theft of their passport online or at the nearest Australian diplomatic or consular mission as soon as possible.

Visitor visa requirements:

  • Form 1419, Application for a visitor visa - tourist stream
  • Visa application charge
  • Copy of valid passport with pages containing bio-details, stamps and visa labels for all people included in the application
  • If citizen other than Korean or Japanese: copy of alien registration certificate (both sides)
  • If a holder of Taiwanese compatriot passport: evidence of a right of re-entry to the country of origin or a third country
  • If a holder of Chinese passport: a copy of national ID card
  • If served in the armed forces of any country: certified copies of military service record or discharge papers
  • If intended stay period is over 3 months: undertake a chest x-ray at a panel hospital
  • If 75 years and over: undertake health examination at a panel hospital regardless of the stay period
  • Evidence of sufficient funds, such as personal bank statements, pay slips, audited accounts, taxation record or credit card limit.
  • If visiting relatives or friends: a letter of invitation from a relative or a friend in Australia. If relative or friend is paying for the visit, evidence that they have the necessary funds
  • Itinerary for the stay in Australia
  • Other information to show that the applicant has an incentive and authority to return to his/her home country

Visa processing time takes around 7 working days.

Payments for visa and citizenship by descent application charges can be paid by postal money order or credit card.

Postal money orders can be obtained from any local post office in Korea in Korean Won (KRW). They should be made out to the ‘Australian Embassy.'

Credit card payments are processed in Australia dollars (AUD) only. Acceptable credit cards are VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners, and JCB and Credit Card Surcharge will apply. Check cards and debit cards are not acceptable.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
