Belarusian Embassy can do the following:
- advise on how to transfer money through a bank or other money transfer company,
- transfer funds to help those in distress,
- help victims of sudden illness, accidents and crimes so that they can get the medical care or other immediate assistance they need,
- grant a temporary passport for repatriation (to replace a passport which is outdated or which has been lost, stolen or destroyed),
- contact the insurance company in cases of sickness or death,
- help those in distress or crisis situations, or those taken into custody, to get in touch with their next of kin
The foreign citizens need to submit to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Estonia the following documents for apply a visa to Belarus:
- Passport in original (not a copy) with two blank page at least. Term of validity of the document has to exceed the term of the requested visa for at least 90 days;
- Visa Application Form;
- One recent passport sized photograph;
- Visa Support Documents;
- Medical Insurance Police;
6. Additional documents, necessary to consider visa application (upon request of the Consular Officer).
7. An interview (upon request of the Consular Officer).
Transit visa (type B, period of validity 2 days) is in question upon presentation of valid visa of the country of destination or, if such visa is not needed, other documents, proved the necessity to cross the Belarusian borders on a way to the country of final destination (ticket, itinerary, etc.).
To get a short-term visa for business purpose with the period of validation 30 days maximum for a citizen of EU as well as national of several other countries, such as Australia, Andorra, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Chili, Island, Israel, Norway, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, USA, Uruguay, Republic of South Africa, Japan do not need to provide any letters of invitation. Still, inviting organization's full name (not abbreviation) and address must be indicated in the visa application form.
Please note, that visas cannot be changed, extended or transferred. If your travel plans changed after the visa has been issued you have to reapply for a new visa. The visa decision cannot be appealed. Visa processing starts only after the Consulate General has received all the necessary documents.
REGISTRATION: During 5 working days after arriving in Belarus a foreign citizen should report the information about the address and duration of his/her stay to the local police station so that a registration stamp be put in his/her passport. If staying in a hotel, this will be arranged by the hotel services (reception bureau).
