The Embassy provides these consular services:
- Issues, renews passports;
- In case of loss or theft of documents, issues a pass to return to Bolivia;
- Provides civil, notarial register, legalization of documents;
- Provides assistance and informs relatives in case of accidents, deaths and other emergencies;
- Monitors cases of arrest or imprisonment of Bolivian citizens by a specific request by their family;
- Issues travel permits to minors with the consent of both parents;
- Issues visas;
- Sponsor judicial proceedings on behalf of Bolivian citizens;
- Provides other consular assistance to Bolivian citizens;
- Allows Bolivian citizens living abroad to participate in national electoral events.
Dutch citizens do not need a tourist visa, but they need:
- To present their passport valid for almost 6 months;
- Flight tickets with return within 90 days;
- The Yellow Fever Shot.
Requirements for the specific purpose visa are:
- Visa Form in legible print, attached with a recent photo, without glasses;
- International yellow fever shot;
- A letter of intent from the company or organization outlining the nature of business and length of stay must be included with the application, except for tourists;
- Letter requesting visa signed by applicant;
- Itinerary or copy of the airline ticket;
- All foreigners must present financial proof (last bank statement).
