Bilateral relations between Egypt and Denmark have witnessed tangible developments in all its spheres. The two countries are keen on exchanging views and coordinating their positions on the international issues of mutual concern. In that context, many top and senior official visits have been exchanged. The growing volume of trade exchange as well as Denmark’s interest to promote its investments in Egypt are considered as positive indicators towards more economic interaction.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

In case Egyptian passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police. A police certificate is required when applying for a new passport at the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate.

Nationals from UK , EU (including Denmark) and USA travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts only, for a maximum of 15 days, do not require a visa prior to travelling as a free entry permission stamp will be granted upon arrival. If they intend to travel outside of the above mentioned areas they must obtain a Visa.

  • Filled in visa application;
  • A photocopy of the residence card in the foreign country (if any).
