In case Egyptian passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police. A police certificate is required when applying for a new passport at the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate.

Citizens of India need visas to visit Egypt.

Required documents:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months;
  • 2 personal photos with white background;
  • Filled in visa application;
  • A photocopy of the residence card in the foreign country (if any).

The Embassy and its consular section are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
