In case Egyptian passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediately reported to the local police. A police certificate is required when applying for a new passport at the Egyptian Embassy.
Citizens of South Korea require a visa to visit Egypt. Visa requirements are:
- Filled in visa application form;
- Paid fee;
- A passport valid for at least six months;
- Two personal photos with a white background;
- A photocopy of the residence card in the foreign country.
Permission procedures take 15 days. Once the permission issued, the visa procedures begin, thus the visa applicant must contact the consulate to know the latest updates.
Citizens of South Korea can also obtain visa upon arrival at any of the Egyptian ports of entry.
