The Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia in Athens is also accredited to the Republic of Albania.

The Embassy's main mission is to promote and further enhance political, economic, and trade relations with Greece and the other countries of accreditation. Furthermore, the Embassy provides general information on Estonia and offers consular services to Estonian nationals visiting or living in Greece as well as to foreign citizens wishing to visit Estonia.

The Estonian Embassy in Tirana provides a wide range of consular services including passports, pension issues, civil registration, legalization of documents, and deals with many other standard issues.

Estonian Consuls provide only general information on visa requirements, they cannot collect or examine visa applications.

As of 1 January 2012, the Embassy in Athens does not process the visas.

A visa application should in principle be lodged at least 15 calendar days before the intended visit (as this is the normal processing time) and cannot be lodged earlier than three months before the start of the intended visit. Visa application may also be submitted through an authorised representative or a commercial intermediary.
