The Embassy of Mexico to the Kingdom of Sweden is concurrently accredited to the Republics of Latvia and Lithuania.  

The principal activities of the Embassy are:

  • To promote the various interests of Mexico in Sweden, Latvia, and Lithuania.
  • To bolster Mexico's positive image in the world, along with its culture and traditions.
  • To encourage friendly relations and cooperation with the three countries.
  • To attend to the needs of, and provide assistance to, the Mexican community in Sweden and the concurrent countries.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Issuance of passports;
  • Issuance of emergency passports;
  • Civil registration;
  • Power of attorney;
  • Consular assistance to Mexican nationals;
  • Issuance of visas.

In case of lost or stolen Mexican passport abroad, it should be immediately reported to the competent authority.  Report about the loss, theft of the passport will be required when applying for an emergency passport at the Mexican Embassy.

Citizens belonging to the Schengen Area do not require a visa to travel to Mexico.
