The Danish Embassy in Manila will take over on the said date the handling of tourist and business visas and permits for family reunification, residence work and re-entry.

All foreign nationals travelling to Norway must have a valid travel document, and for the vast majority of people this means a valid passport. Nationals of certain countries must in addition have a valid visa before travelling to Norway. Foreign nationals who are required to have a visa are also obliged to have travel medical insurance.

Norway tourist visa is required for citizens of Philippines.

Visitor visa requirements:

  • Application fee;
  • All documents on the embassy's checklist;
  • Passport valid for at least 3 months after the end of visit;
  • Valid travel insurance;
  • Enough money to finance the stay in Norway and the return journey;
  • Not be a subject to a prohibition against entry to Norway or Schengen;
  • If under the age of 18, application signed by both parents or legal guardian;
  • Booked accommodation for the first days of the stay in Norway;
  • Reason for the travel to Norway cannot be to receive medical treatment;
  • If applicant has been in Schengen area in the last 90 days, he/she must check when it is possible to re-enter, and how many days he/she can stay in Schengen.

Most people will receive an answer within two weeks of submitting their application to a foreign service mission.

Application fee must be paid electronically (by credit/debit card) on the secure Application Portal when filling in the application form online. The registration will not be sent to the Embassy before the payment has been successfully processed. References/sponsors may pay on the applicant's behalf.
