In case Norwegian passport is lost or stolen abroad, it should be immediately reported to the local police and the Norwegian Embassy should be contacted to apply for a new passport.

Turkish citizens and persons from other countries with a visa requirement, wishing to stay for 90 days or less, need a visa in order to visit Norway. When the purpose of the travel is business, tourism, attending cultural or sports events, or visiting family or friends, they must apply for a visitor's visa (Schengen Visa type C).

Tourist visa checklist:

• Cover letter from the application portal Norway
• One photograph glued to cover letter (biometric standard, not older than six months, 35 x 45 mm)
• Passport (both new and old passports)
• Passport copy
• Flight or travel reservations or other proof of intended transport
• Travel medical insurance
• Questionnaire D, filled and signed
• Proof of sufficient funds to cover travel costs for the stay in Norway
• Other supporting documents based on applicant's occupation

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
