In case of lost Russian passport abroad, Consular Section of the Russian Embassy can issue a return certificate (temporary document) to return to the Russian Federation. Also, a police report about the lost passport must be obtained from the local police.

Citizens of France need tourist visas to visit Russia. Requirements:

• Original passport;
• Photocopy of passport pages;
• Online application in English or Russian;
• Proof of travel insurance;
• Proof of stay;
• Valid French residence permit.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays.
