The Consular Section of the Embassy offers a wide variety of visas:

  • Business Visas
  • Guest (Sponsored) Visas
  • Tourist Visas
  • Transit Visas
  • Student Visas
  • Work Visas
  • Highly Skilled Migrants, etc.

Business visa is issued to foreigners who wish to enter Russia temporarily for business purposes, as representatives of foreign governments, members of official delegations, temporary workers, cultural or sports exchange visitors, religious workers.

Guest visa is required for visitors invited by relatives or friends. Transit visa permits to travel through the Russian territory without stay. It is valid for 3 days only.

Visa can be denied if the Consulate has serious reasons to believe that the applicant's visit to the Russian Federation is not desirable, and the disclosure of the reason for the denial can be withheld.

NOTE: The Embassy accepts cash, bank cheques and post money order as a method of payment.

The applicant is welcome to submit the application in person at the Consular Section during its business hours or send it by post to the abovementioned address.
