  • Issuance of passports;
  • Issuance of requested documents;
  • Issuance of criminal records;
  • Pensions and social issues.

In case of lost Russian passport abroad, Consular Section of the Russian Embassy can issue a return certificate (temporary document) to return to the Russian Federation. Also, a police report about the lost passport must be obtained from the local police.

Visa applications must be submitted in visa center in Bern and Geneva.  

Tourist visa requirements (maximum stay of up to 1 month):

  • Passport;
  • Visa application with passport photograph;
  • Proof of health insurance;
  • Travel confirmation of the Russian tour operator with a valid reference number;
  • Voucher from Russian tour operator.  

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
