The Embassy provides these consular services:

• Provides notarial services;

• Registers Korean citizens abroad;
• Issues criminal record certificates;
• Deals with nationality matters;
• Deals with overseas voting matters.

In case of lost passport, South Korean citizens should report the loss to the local police and obtain a police notification. This notification will be needed when applying for an emergency passport at the South Korean Embassy.

South Korea has signed a visa waiver agreement with Turkey, therefore, nationals of Turkey can enter South Korea without a visa, on the condition that they do not engage in remunerative activities during their stay, for 60 days in a row, not exceeding 90 days within 180 days.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
