Charles Sturt University (CSU) Study Centres - Sydney & Melbourne:
Available to local and international students, this graduate degree course provides advanced training in information technology for students with either IT or non-IT backgrounds. Accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS), it aims to make you proficient in the use of information technology and information systems and theoretically equipped to solve real world problems and deal with IT professionals. Intakes are in February, July, and November.

Course Content:
Students can undertake a broad area of study or specialise. You must complete the core subjects and a further 10 subjects chosen from those listed below (a minimum of 6 must be at Level 5). All subjects are developed to provide industry relevance and theoretical depth.

Core Subjects:  Introduction of Information Technology PG; Information Analysis and Design; Database Systems; Computer Networks; Ethics and Information Technology; Information Technology Project Management.

Specialisation Subjects:
- Systems Analysis:  Object Oriented Systems Analysis and Design; Foundations of Programming; Computer Management and Security; Strategic Information Management; IT Infrastructure Management PG; Modelling and Decision Support; Information Technology for Management; E-systems Infrastructure Development
  
- Networking:  Computer Networks; Inside Active Directory PG; Internet Working with TCP/IP; Linux Networking and Security; Principles of Information Security
  
- Managing IT:  Computer Management and Security; Strategic Information Management; Data Communications Design and Management; IT for Managers; e-Systems Infrastructure Development

- Online Information Systems:  Interface Usability; Website Operations and Publishing; Web Based Information Systems; Modelling and Decision Support
