With campuses in desirable locations in Southern California, Southern States University (SSU) provides accredited BBA and MBA courses for international students. Founded in 1983, students can earn an undergraduate or graduate degree on-campus in San Diego (La Jolla & Fashion Valley) or Newport Beach (just south of Irvine, 40 minutes from Los Angeles). In addition to our business degrees, we also provide intensive English language courses which can be taken alongside your academic studies.

Southern States University was first established over 25 years ago in Orange County, California. In 2005, SSU was acquired by an education-focused corporation, which immediately re-directed the University and its programs to better reflect the needs of today’s global business community.

Since January 2006, SSU has grown from less than 10 students in one location to over 1,000 students studying our BBA and MBA Degree Programs and an Intensive English Program at three campuses in San Diego and Orange Counties in Southern California.

Accreditation:
The University has received national accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) in 2010. All SSU programs and locations are fully accredited.

Southern States University (SSU) is the most affordable accredited university in the U.S. We finance our MBA or BBA students with monthly payments of $350/4 weeks (plus fees: $25 library fee and $40 processing fee). Fees are related to graduation, final project, student card, etc.

Our Intensive English Program prices start at $190/4 weeks at our Fashion Valley campus with early morning classes from 7:30 am-12:00 pm.

International Student Employment:
After one academic year, international students can start to work legally in U.S. through CPT (Curricular Practical Training). After graduation, students can work full time legally through OPT (Optional Practical Training) in any job related to their field of study.
