Hemingway (accredited by the Cervantes Institute) is a
middle-sized private school located in the city center
of Bilbao in romantic Northern Spain since 1986. We are not only a "Spanish
School", we are an "Institute for Languages and
Cross-Cultural Training". We offer programs such as
Spanish courses, University semester abroad programs,
internship programs, volunteer work, adventure tours,
and more.
Language
Internships; Study/Work in Spain: This program allows the possibility of doing an
internship/ practicum in Spanish companies
in a variety of sectors if you are 18 or over. It is a magnificent opportunity
to improve your level of Spanish, become better acquainted with Spanish
enterprise, while developing your professional potential. We also offer
internships in other countries in Europe, Australia and
USA.
Opportunities in areas of Agriculture, Architecture,
Art, Business, Communications, Computer Technology,
Education, Health Care,
Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, Marketing, Law, Psychology, Social Work,
Environment and Wildlife, Sport, Theological
Studies.
Send us your CV (Resume), and
we will distribute it among the companies on the program. The companies in
turn, by means of a rigorous selection process, choose a practicum/internship student
according to their needs. The program starts with two weeks of Spanish classes
at Instituto Hemingway before  actually beginning the practicum placement.
The program costs 800 Euros and includes:
A practicum placement appropriate for your professional background. (Usually
four hours a day).
Search of accommodation. Orientation course at the start of the program.
Ongoing orientation and assistance throughout the duration of the program.
Requirements:
At least beginner's level in Spanish, and excellent communication skills.
