Conversation Plus Dutch Classes: Course Duration: 8 weeks (16 hours). You will have 1 lesson of 2 hrs per week on Saturday mornings or Tuesday evenings.
Requiring at least an intermediate knowledge of Dutch (B1 level CEFR), this short course is an ideal way to shake the dust off your rusty Dutch, or to actually start using the language skills you have learned.
This highly-interactive course focuses on communication, with a great emphasis on the students’ own input, allowing room to concentrate on your individual interests and needs. It allows you to build your vocabulary and fluency.
You will work exclusively with authentic Dutch material including a selection of articles from Dutch quality newspapers, such as De Volkskrant and NRC Handelsblad. In addition, there is an important role for Dutch culture. You will have approximately 2 hours of homework to complete each week.
