Hills Learning, New York City:
Located in New York City, Hills Learning offers Chinese language lessons for all skill levels and all ages. Individual and group courses are available. We offer lessons in general Mandarin as well as Fujianese, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and other dialects depending on the teacher. Our private lessons are intended primarily for adults, but we also offer Chinese programs for children who wish to learn the language. For private lessons, we match Chinese language teachers in the New York City area with students based on their location, language needs, personality, and other factors. We cover all of NYC - Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens and even Staten Island. Private Chinese tutors are also available in parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.

Private Chinese Lessons:
Our private lessons cover conversational development, test prep, business chinese, and basic linguistic comprehension. We also offer classes in specific areas including:

Advanced Chinese or Academic Chinese:
In these classes, we can tailor your curriculum to developing newspaper and television comprehension, workplace Chinese, specific topics and goals.

Business Chinese:
Business Chinese instruction programs are also available through individually tailored private lessons. Legal, securities, trading, and other professions are available for language instruction.

Survival Chinese for Vacations:
For Survival Chinese when traveling, we offer a course that combines the basics of ordering in restaurants, asking for directions, and traveling via public transportation. Also basic pinyin (meaning phonetics, and is currently the most commonly used romanization system for Standard Mandarin) and vocabulary is taught.
