Le Fashion Lab is a fashion design school providing a range of quality fashion design programs which include Sewing, Patternmaking, Garment Construction, and Fashion Illustration. Sewing Classes in Georgia:

Our sewing classes within our programs are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced level. For your convenience, we offer daytime, evening and weekend classes.

Course Duration: 20 hours - 8 sessions, 2.5 hours each. Prerequisites: None 
Recommended for all students at the beginner level, this class is the ideal starting place for garment construction classes.

It provides an excellent introduction to technical sewing principles, through creating a sample book of various seam finishes specific to various fabric types, buttons, zippers, welt pockets, facing, etc. 

Students will have sample book for reference even after class has ended.

• Introduction to Sewing II
Course Duration: 4 sessions, 2.5 hours each. Prerequisites: Intro to Sewing I
This class continues to teach students more about fine sewing techniques including – sewing darts, facings for neckline, intricate welt pocket, sewing various types of zippers, and more. 

 Intermediate Sewing
Course Duration: 4 sessions, 2.5 hours each. Prerequisites: Introduction to Sewing 
This class provides a continuation of the sewing principles you learned in Introduction to Sewing. Here, previous techniques learned will be applied to creating numerous garments in miniature size (shirts, skirts, dresses, collars, sleeves, etc) as you work towards a thorough understanding of making various garments.

• Advanced Sewing
Course Duration: 4 sessions, 2.5 hours each. Prerequisites: Introduction to Sewing, Intermediate Sewing
This class provides a continuation of sewing principles learned in Introduction to Sewing and Intermediate Sewing. Here, previous techniques learned will be applied to creating a professionally finished lined tailored blazer with notched collar and welt pockets.
