Semester Programs at JCU: JCU is located in a charming, historic campus in the center of Rome and a more modern campus nearby on the Tiber River.
At JCU, you can choose from over 200 challenging courses taught in English each term, most with an international emphasis. We offer small, engaging classes (average size 15 students) where professors and students get to know each other.
Accredited Undergraduate University Programs: Students can complete a semester abroad program in the following fields of study: Art History; Classical Studies; English Literature; History; Humanistic Studies; Italian Studies; Business Administration; Economics and Finance; International Business; Marketing; Communications; International Affairs; Political Science.
You will need to take a minimum of 12 credits (4 classes). You will take on-site classes at historic locations in Rome and you will also go on study trips and extra-curricular activities throughout Italy.

University Credit Transfer: JCU is a regionally accredited University so academic credits earned here are easily transferable, allowing you to stay on track for graduation.
Student Visa: If you are from the United States or another country that is not a member of the European Union, you need a student visa before entering Italy. Obtaining a student visa is mandatory by Italian law and must be obtained before you arrive.
