Our intensive Chinese course is ideal for anyone visiting China for two weeks or more who wishes to study Chinese and experience the culture as well. Intensive Mandarin Chinese Courses:
Suitable for students of all levels - from basic beginner to advanced.

• Our intensive Chinese program can include homestay with a Chinese host family, allowing for full Chinese immersion.

• You will have 20 hours of Chinese language classes, which take place in the morning from Monday to Friday. After class, you will have a break for lunch during which you can visit one of the many fantastic local restaurants or cafes.

• On Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, Hanbridge will provide an activity which aims to introduce you to some aspect of Chinese culture, as well providing authentic opportunities to practice your new Chinese language skills.

Cultural Activities may include:
Chinese film viewings, Calligraphy, Chinese cooking lessons and visits to local cultural attractions and exhibitions such as the Chinese cultural folk village or the Shenzhen Museum.

Optional Extra Activities:
As an optional extra, you can also participate in a larger weekend trip. Such trips include visits to local cities like the Hakka city Huizhou, with its famous West Lake and pagoda, or the provincial capital Guangzhou.

During your stay, you may wish to visit one of Shenzhen’s beaches, Da Mei Sha or Xiao Mei Sha, or climb Shenzhen’s biggest mountain, Wu Tong Shan.

All trips can be organized and coordinated from the school itself and you can be accompanied by one of our staff if you wish.
