Length of study: Up to 48 weeks, Minimum English Proficiency Level: 4

All Study & Work programs consist of two major components - Daily English and Employment. First, you complete intensive English study at Omnicom. You will then participate in an internship (paid or unpaid). You can choose self-placement (you find your own job), or you can opt for a package where we provide placement assistance. The internship component of your program will be equal or less than the English course component.
If you choose the self-placement option, you must complete a minimum 12 weeks of English with the last four weeks being Business English. With the self-placement option, common places to find work include cafés, hospitality and service industries, coffee shops, retail shops, restaurants, and more.
Course Content:
You will focus on grammar and pronunciation building activities along with vocabulary in real life situations. It gives you the opportunity to expand and apply your knowledge both inside and outside of the classroom.
This program will employ a variety of dynamic teaching techniques including videos, role-plays, and discussions as well as interactive activities such as multimedia exercises, field trips, information hunts, and Canadian surveys. It aims to equip you with the crucial and practical skills necessary for success in the North American job market. You will participate in workshops to learn resume writing, effective interview techniques, job search methods, understand cultural diversity in the work place, polish your customer service skills, and study business cases and issues.
Course Requirements:
TOEIC score of 300, or TOEFL score of 40 CBT, 310 PBT, 12 iBT, or Low-intermediate level placement test, OR successful completion of Level 4, Omnicom Intensive English Program.
