Intensive German Courses:
Our intensive German courses consist of 10, 20 or 30 teaching hours per week at all levels. All aspects of the general language are included: grammar, listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. Courses for learners with prior knowledge of German start every Monday. Please contact us for start dates for beginners.

Intensive German Course Plus:
This course consists of 30 teaching hours per week and builds on the main intensive course of 20 hours per week held in the mornings. Early in the afternoon you have the following options: conversation training, specialist business language, grammar course or examination preparation for the DSH / TestDaF exams. A senior intensive course for students aged 50+ is also available.


German Language Exam Preparation:

Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TestDaF):

The TestDaF is a language test for foreign learners of German who plan to study in Germany or who require recognised certification of their language skills.

You need to reach at least TDN 4 in each subtest for admission to university. A score of TDN 5 shows that you have a very good knowledge of German, above that required at the beginning of your studies.

F+U is an accredited auditing center for TestDaF.


New: Intensive Semester Course for TestDaF Preparation
The goal: Pass the TestDaF exam.  
Levels: A1.1 and A2.1
In order to enable our students to reach C1 or C2 level even faster, and to pass the TestDaF exam even sooner than usual, this new semester course specializes in the intensive preparation for the TestDaF.

TestAS - Test für Ausländische Studierende: 
TestAS is a central standardised aptitude test for foreign / non-EU students who want to take undergraduate studies at a German university. TestAS gives prospective students information about their individual ranking compared to other applicants. With good results, they can improve their chances of being admitted for studies at a German university.

F+U is an accredited auditing center for TestAS.

Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH):
Many higher education institutions expect foreign students to sit the DSH as a requirement for admission to a full course of academic study.

The European Language Certificates (TELC):
These language examinations, which are recognized across Europe, are held in fifteen countries and in over 3000 facilities for various levels of competency. The European language certificates are internationally recognized and highly valued.

For example: The examination for the German certificate is a precondition for the acquisition of the German citizenship; several German states recognize the European language certificate in place of various diplomas.

F+U is an accredited auditing agency for TELC.


University Entrance Qualification for International Students (International Prep School)
In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences for Business, Technology and Culture (Hochschule für
Wirtschaft, Technik und Kultur - HWTK, Berlin), our International Prep School offers a preparatory course for the external Feststellungsprüfung (official assessment).


Executive / Business German Courses:
We offer group courses and individual lessons for Business German. These will teach you to:
- Communicate with business partners (in person, at the phone and in a written form
- Introduce products and services succesfully
- Take part in discussions and in meetings convincingly
- Conduct negotiations precisely


Professional / Vocational Training Courses:
F+U also offers professional career training in its state recognized vocational college for foreign languages (Foreign Language Correspondence Clerk, World Trade Correspondent Clerk, European Secretary, Translator, Interpreter..).


Junior German Courses (For children & teenagers ages 7 - 15)
The summer German courses offered for kids & teens are offered in July and August and are available for 1 - 8 weeks. The groups are divided into three age groups: 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years.

In addition to German lessons, the full programme includes accommodation and meals with a host family and a variety of leisure activities.


International / Foreign Languages:

Company Internships in Germany & Abroad:
F + U is authorised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry for the federal state of Baden-Württemberg to carry out an internship programme (language course + internship in accordance with “Eurodyssée” in Germany and in other European countries. 

In accordance with this program, foreign citizens take a four week language course and are subsequently placed in internships in companies. Similar programs are carried out for the “Leonardo da Vinci” – EU Programme.
