Hills Learning is a language school located in Central New York City offering group and private Chinese classes. Our group classes for adults are held at the Chanin Building which is part of Grand Central station (122 East 42nd Street, at the corner of Lexington Avenue, in Manhattan). For private classes, Hills Learning matches Chinese language teachers with students in the New York City area. We cover Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and even Staten Island as well as parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.

Survival Chinese for Travel / Vacations:

We offer lessons in general Mandarin as well as Fujianese, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and other dialects depending on the teacher. For survival Chinese when traveling, we offer a course that combines the basics of ordering food in restaurants, asking for directions, and traveling via public transportation. Also basic pinyin (meaning phonetics, and is currently the most commonly used romanization system for Standard Mandarin) and vocabulary is taught. 

Our private Chinese lessons can also cover conversational development, business Chinese, and basic linguistic comprehension.
