Group Spanish Courses (20 hours per week):
Plenty of interaction is encouraged to make classes as dynamic as possible. Courses start every Monday, year-round. Each course consists of 4 sessions of 50 minutes each day, for a total of 20 hours per week. Maximum class size is 4 students per group. Classes are held in the mornings or afternoons.

Spanish Half-courses (10 hours per week):
This is an option if you want to work on your Spanish skills, but don't want to spend 20 hours a week. You can choose between individual and group courses, and whether you want to study in the mornings or in the afternoons. This course is 10 hours per week.
 
Individual Spanish Courses (20 hours per week):
We offer a personalized method of teaching according to the specific needs of each student. Courses can begin any day (Monday to Friday) year-round and consist of 4 sessions of 50 minutes per day for a total of 20 hours per week. Classes can be held in the mornings or afternoons.

Total Spanish Immersion Program:
Our total immersion program is developed for those who want to learn or improve their Spanish as fast as possible. In 1 month time you will get 120 hours of individual Spanish lessons. You will get 6 hours of classes a day from Monday to Friday. In the weekends you will see more of Peru. You will have a Cusco city tour, a trip to the sacred valley, Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu! You will stay at a guest family where you can practice your Spanish and where you will enjoy the variety of the Peruvian kitchen.

This course will give you a specialized vocabulary within the occupational areas of healthcare, business or technical fields, and will be developed in many practical contexts. The course will prepare you for meeting patients, customers or employees who only speak Spanish.

Survival Spanish:
Proyecto Peru offers a specially designed Spanish course for travelers who want to communicate in day-to-day situations. The teachers will make each class a dynamic environment, and provide real-life situations through which the student will have an opportunity to practice Spanish with locals.

Spanish for Children (ages 5 - 12):
Proyecto Peru can offer a Spanish learning programme at any time of the year for children between 5 and 12 years of age. Children learn Spanish through educational and fun activities. The classes begin with basic Spanish, based on themes such as greetings, numbers, colours, actions, animals, etc. As part of the learning process, the young students may perform in a play, draw and paint in the classroom, visit parks, etc. If the age is appropriate, students may also learn Spanish through puppet shows, story telling, board games, videos, music, dance and cooking classes. All focus on practical situations in order to maintain interest and attention. Children may also join cultural activities.

Summer Spanish Program:
We offer a summer Spanish course which has been specially developed for students who want to learn Spanish as efficiently as possible while enjoying a holiday in Peru. Our summer Spanish program lasts for one month. Homestay accommodation with a local Peruvian host family is included in the program. You will get 4 hours of classes from Monday to Friday for a total of 80 Spanish classes in the month. In the weekends you will have excursions with your fellow students to the most interesting places in Peru including a Cusco city tour, The Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu.

Quechua Lessons:
Proyecto Peru offers lessons in Quechua. Quechua is a native language that is widely spoken in the Andes and the official language of the old Inca empire. In South America about 10 million people speak Quechua, the majority living in Peru. In Peru Quechua is an official language. There is a variety in dialects, but the Quechua spoken in Cusco is the most important.

We offer Quechua lessons with a private teacher. They are available for beginners, but also for advanced speakers. You can take classes by the hour, or take our 15 hour program (3 hours per day).

Volunteering Program:
ProyectPhotos of Proyecto Peru Centre, Cuscoo Peru can arrange volunteer programs for students who want to work in different areas around Cusco. Volunteers should take at least 20 hours of Spanish lessons and accommodation during their volunteer work.

The chance to make a real difference in other people's lives is the reason most volunteers choose Proyecto Peru. Through volunteering, you give and you receive.The centre simply offers a place for people to contribute to positive change by cultivating the spirit of service in their lives. Proyecto Peru considers how to use cultural diversity and communications as effectively as possible in the volunteer programs.

We offer volunteering projects for those who wish to work with children & schools; orphanages and medical clinics. We have after-school programs, projects with health care, working with elderly people. But there are also possibilities to help an organization with their marketing, webpage, communications or organization.

Volunteers need to be available for at least 4 weeks and the required level of Spanish depends on the project you choose. Placements are available all year round.

Internship Program:
Proyecto Peru offers possibilities for inPicture of Spanish & Quechua Courses in Cusco, Peruternships in Cusco. We are able to provide, in cooperation with different projects, interesting opportunities for an internship in Cusco. Although you will not receive a salary for your internship, an internship is not volunteering. Your tasks will normally be more specific and there will be more supervision. Your school or university can also have some specific demands on the content or the organization of your internship.

We offer a medical internship for medical students throughout all the year. We have great opportunities for people with specific knowledge in the medical field. In the social and educational field, we have possibilities to work with children of all ages in orphanages or public schools. We will do our best to create an optimal working environment, but of course you will be responsible for the scope of your internship. There are different opportunities to make your internship an interesting learning experience, as well as a contribution to the local society.
