Teen Summer School in Scotland & England

ISSOS, Summer School 2026 at St Andrews & Cambridge Universities:
• ISSOS offers all-inclusive three-week summer school programs for international students aged between 13 - 18 years old. The summer school programs will be held in July and August 2026 in the St. Andrews and Cambridge Universities.

• St Andrews is located on the beautiful east coast of Scotland, approximately 50 miles (80km) north-east of Edinburgh, and 80 miles (130 km) north-east of Glasgow.

• The city of Cambridge in England is situated approximately 50 miles (80 km) north-east of London. All students will be picked up by a uniformed member of staff at the selected international airports and accompanied to St Andrews or Cambridge.

Location and Facilities:

St Andrews, Scotland:
• Based in the Royal Burgh of St Andrews, the home of golf and the oldest seat of learning in Scotland, a town packed with history, tradition, culture and of course golden beaches, there is no place to spend this summer like the International Summer School of Scotland.

• This idyllic seaside location provides not only a unique and breathtaking backdrop but a stimulating, exciting and above all safe environment for students to spend their summers.

• History is ingrained in every stone of St Andrews. This fascinating town is not only the internationally renowned home of golf, it is also the home of Scotland's first university. Each year thousands of golfers and tourists travel to St Andrews to behold the world famous Old Course and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and experience and admire some of the most famous golf courses in the world.

• Founded in 1412, the elegant, ivy-clad buildings and delightful quadrangles and gardens of St Andrews University have seen a procession of famous graduates including John Knox and John Napier.

Cambridge, England:
• Cambridge, is a cosmopolitan, university city filled with history and culture where old traditions meet new innovations and city life is played out against the imposing backdrop of the many university buildings.

• The University of Cambridge, founded in 1284 is one of the most famous and highly regarded universities in the world. Cambridge alumni include some of the worlds most notable scholars including, Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, A A. Milne and fifteen British Prime Ministers.

• This unique location provides the ideal environment for ISSOS, giving summer students the chance to experience one of the world’s most visited cities and to discover the stunning architecture and countryside that lie beyond.

• Cambridge’s attractions are many and varied with, the Imperial War Museum, punting on the River Cam, 32 university colleges and the market square amongst others, enthralling visitors from far and wide.

• Although Cambridge is considered a city it has the atmosphere of a small university town, with glorious architecture at every corner, cafes, museums and theatres dominating this small, picturesque and above all safe city.
