AboutThe Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician (AME
- E) with hands‑on experience in aircraft electrical systems, instrumentation, and avionics. This is a fully on‑site role where you'll work directly on aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and internal safety standards. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges in dynamic environments‑at heights, outdoors, and occasionally in confined spaces‑this could be the perfect next step in your aviation career.
Relocation costs are fully covered by the employer.
What You'll Do- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical, electronic, and avionics systems
- Install and test aircraft instruments and components
- Overhaul avionics equipment and ensure systems meet performance and safety standards
- Perform modifications, maintenance, and system upgrades
- Conduct diagnostic testing using specialized equipment
- Ensure all work meets Transport Canada and company aviation requirements
- Trade certificate/diploma OR equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in avionics or aircraft maintenance
- Background in aircraft manufacturing, military aviation, or repair/overhaul facilities
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License (AME
- E) - Avionics Systems Endorsements
- CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification
- Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
- Clean Criminal Record Check
