Senior Full-Stack Developer

Clearbridge is looking for a senior full-stack developer who loves turning business problems into modern, reliable applications and who brings a thoughtful and proactive approach to their work. This role is hands‑on and built for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and collaborating directly with stakeholders. You will work on a mix of short‑term builds and long‑term projects, taking features from idea to design to deployment with confidence and clarity.

We are looking for someone who not only builds well but also communicates well, thinks ahead, and contributes positively to how a development function operates. If you enjoy taking strong ownership in your role and influencing how things are built and delivered, you will thrive here.

• Building, expanding and maintaining web apps using a variety of technologies. We often have the chance to work on brand new projects that can be built and finished in weeks, or long‑term projects spanning years.
• Communicating directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate changes.

• More than 10 years of software development experience.
• Multiple years of experience in Type Script and React.
• A generalist background: comfortable throwing together a UI, working with APIs and databases, and managing the basic Dev Ops for a small project (builds, deployments, monitoring at a simple level).
• Familiarity with basic testing practices and familiar with CI/CD concepts.
• Must be able to work in the office (Abbotsford).
• Not necessary, but at some point, you may end up working with Python or even PHP.

• Strong verbal and written communication.

• Can suggest better ways to solve a problem.
• Can translate business problems into clear technical requirements.

• Understands and follows lightweight change management behaviours.
• Able to take a feature from idea > design > build > test with reasonable independence.
