We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Warehouse Team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This is a regular full-time position at our Head Office in Abbotsford, BC.

About the Role
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will manage the flow of packages and materials in and out of our warehouse. This includes loading, unloading, sorting, and moving shipments by hand or using material handling equipment, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Job Duties

Ship and receive all parts and materials as required,

Update status of inbound and outbound orders in ERP system

Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages, weighing them, and tracking costs

Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area,

Perform general duties, and assist production team as required.

Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Inventory counts

Communicate with staff or departments when packages arrive

Storing and organizing packages until delivered or picked up

Writing waybills

Communicating with transportation companies

Packaging parcels for transportation

Any other items, as directed by the Manager

Core Competencies

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Capable of working independently

Good judgement

Appreciation for detail work

Good health and physical mobility:
Capable of lifting parts and equipment (50lbs), stand for long periods of time, and move inventory around the facility

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Strong problem solving skills, Organizational skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Requirements

1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse

Extensive knowledge of major couriers – Fed Ex, Purolator, UPS, etc.

Driver’s License

Forklift experience

Parts knowledge an asset

Compensation: $22–$25/hr., depending on relevant RV service or warehouse experience
