Salary: £42,855 (including shift allowance)

Location:

Aberdare, South Wales, CF44

Permanent Role -- Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

Day shifts: 06:00 – 18:00 (2 days)

Night shifts: 18:00 – 06:00 (2 nights)

Followed by: 4 days off

Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking for a role where your expertise truly matters? This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

Maintaining and repairing plant and machinery to keep production moving.
Diagnosing faults and implementing solutions across mechanical and electrical systems.
Driving improvements through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques.
Working independently when needed, using your initiative to solve challenges.
What We’re Looking For

At least 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing.
A recognised apprenticeship and ideally HNC-level qualification.
Strong mechanical skills with electrical knowledge.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, welding, and fabrication.
Confidence in PLC fault-finding (GEM
80, Allen Bradley, Siemens S7).
Computer literacy and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
