Wood is recruiting for a Rope Access Technical Authority to provide technical support to Operations Management and the Rope Access delivery team.

Location:

Aberdeen, hybrid working environment.

• Provide technical support to the Operations Manager and the Rope Access delivery team.
• Ensure guidance and mentoring to the Rope Access team.
• Carry out inspections and internal audits as specified by the Quality plan.
• Undertake site visits and surveys to support scopes of work.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with delivery teams, construction and technical functions, HSEQ and HR.
• Identify and develop opportunities to grow the Rope Access business.
• Act as technical owner of the corporate competency standard for Rope Access within the Competence Management System.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and industry best practice.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality policies.
• Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and drive best practice into service offering.

• Extensive experience in practical Rope Access operations.
• IRATA Level 3 certification (or equivalent).
• IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IRATA documentation, ICOP, TACS and relevant regulations such as Work at Height.
