Engineering Sub Agent, Civil Engineering

Position: Sub Agent (Permanent)
We are supporting a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure, roads, earthworks, and utilities projects across the North of Scotland. They are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team in Aberdeenshire, playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality projects.

You will support the Site Agent in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery.

This role offers strong progression opportunities and involvement in diverse civil engineering works across the region.

As the Sub-Agent your duties will include but are not limited to:

Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
Oversee engineering teams, subcontractors, and site resources.
Ensure all works meet safety, quality, environmental, and client standards.
Review technical information, raise queries, and help drive value engineering.
Monitor progress, maintain site records, and support commercial reporting.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners.

The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate:

Experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer role within civils, utilities, or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of site operations, construction methodologies, and temporary works.
Proactive leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Competent with technical documentation, planning, and reporting.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project sites.
