NHS Grampian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is an inclusive, values‑based multi‑disciplinary team that promotes patient‑centred care, efficiency and a culture that values, enables and develops staff. Responsibilities- Deliver 1:1 child and adolescent therapy using a broad range of modalities (CBT, IPT, Systemic Family Therapy, FBT, ACT, EMDR, play therapy, pharmacotherapy).
- Conduct family work, group work, specialist work streams and consultation.
- Participate in early intervention work and specialist CAMHS Hub activity.
- Contribute to departmental research, audit and local/national teaching and training.
- Engage in dynamic monthly CPD programme and multi‑disciplinary supervision structures.
- Undergraduate Psychology degree and MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People or MSc in Psychological Therapies in Primary Care essential.
- Clinical experience working in CAMHS with children and adolescents essential.
- Experience working collaboratively with other professional groups and partner agencies desirable.
- Demonstrated research/audit experience will be an advantage.
A relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates. The role offers a supportive line management structure, peer group and multi‑disciplinary supervision and a local CAMHS training group that drives forward staff and team development.
LocationGrampian, North East of Scotland – a region with diverse cultural, sporting and natural attractions and easy access to Aberdeen and Inverness airports.
