Independent Prescribing Pharmacist – Boots UK

Boots UK is looking for an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to provide excellent customer and patient care in our retail pharmacies. The role involves dispensing medicines, offering expert advice, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

About

The Role
  • Deliver the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice.
  • Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
  • Build the pharmacy capability of store teams.
  • Conduct continual review through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount.
  • Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services.
What You'll Need To Have
  • Be registered with a relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
  • Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients and customers.
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and a commitment to providing the best care for customers.
  • Be collaborative with a team‑centered approach.
  • Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
  • Be a great communicator, able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients.
