We are looking for an ambitious and motivated pharmacist to join our current team of Band 6 rotational pharmacists. You will be based within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and rotations may involve the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital, The Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Woodend Hospital (all in Aberdeen city).
It is a very exciting period for NHS Grampian as we have two major developments: the ANCHOR Centre (Cancer) and the Baird Family Hospital (which will replace the current maternity hospital), both currently in construction and due to open in 2026/27. In addition, we have a new NHS Grampian Strategy focused on creating sustainable health and care over the next 10 years.
Responsibilities- Participate in our established rotation, developing knowledge and experience across a range of pharmacy disciplines, including medicine, oncology, surgery, paediatrics, aseptic dispensing, medicines information, dispensary, radiopharmacy and quality assurance.
- Receive training and support centred around the post‑registration foundation framework.
- Commit to joining our on‑call rota; training for on‑call duties will commence after an initial settling‑in period.
- Registered pharmacist holding a valid qualification.
- Ambitious and motivated, with readiness to work within a Band 6 rotational pharmacy environment.
