Fibre Supervisor; Flex

Overview

Due to rapid growth within the business, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Telecoms Field Supervisor to join our team! At Locktel, we build, manage and maintain vital communications infrastructures. We work with major network operators and engineering companies to build and maintain telecommunication networks.

• Cooperation and Communication with PM, Operation Team, H&S department, and Engineers on site.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards.
• Direct and supervise operations of direct labour and sub-contractors, ensuring appliance of common operational procedures that comply with health and safety requirements.
• Ensure works are carried out safely, fulfilling the company’s health, safety and welfare responsibilities.
• Ensure all direct labour and sub-contractors are compliant with providing the required information relating to their works.
• Create and maintain good relations with clients and customers, both internal and external.
• Working with Internal Management System (Tablet & Training provided) knowledge is essential.
• Meet weekly and monthly team productivity targets.

• 2 years Previous experience working in Fibre Supervision
• Cabling, Splicing, Testing and Business installations knowledge is essential.
• Experience with OTDR, iOLM and CD/PMD testing.
• Good communication, people management and leadership skills.
• The ability to work under pressure with a high level of attention to detail.
• A great attitude and fantastic work ethic.
• Previous experience working to tight deadlines maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
• Valid driving license is essential.

• Right to Work in the UK (Settlement Status)
