Take ownership of and manage a substantial client portfolio, assuming higher levels of client responsibility and overseeing your team’s portfolios. Lead the charge in achieving revenue and profitability targets while nurturing and strengthening enduring client relationships. Inspire, develop, and guide your team through effective coaching, mentoring, and exceptional leadership. Play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategy & direction, driving continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of periodic management accounts and annual statutory accounts for clients, providing insights, best practice recommendations, and recommendations for partner review.
- Offer comprehensive accounting and accounting systems support to clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
- Champion the growth and development of your team by serving as a mentor, providing daily support and assistance, and nurturing their professional advancement.
- Operate both independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver outstanding client service.
- Mentor junior staff members, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in departmental planning, performance appraisals, and mentorship of junior team members, working with senior management to support their professional growth.
- Lead planning and closing meetings, overseeing accounting teams throughout the entire business advisory cycle.
- Participate in resource management for business advisory engagements throughout the year, collaborating closely with Partners and fellow managers.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to lead and execute the firm’s strategic initiatives.
- Utilize your expertise to drive innovation and integrate cutting‑edge technologies that amplify efficiency, accuracy, and client service.
- Lead or participate in projects related to process automation, adoption of digital tools, and optimization of workflows.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement and streamline internal processes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of audit and accounting regulations, as well as industry standards that impact the firm and its clients.
- Stay attuned to evolving compliance requirements to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Offer guidance to colleagues and clients on complex regulatory matters.
- Deliver internal training sessions to educate team members on compliance best practices.
- Cultivate and uphold strong client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor.
- Offer insights that extend beyond traditional audit services, addressing clients’ evolving needs and concerns.
- Provide strategic guidance on how technological advancements can strategically benefit clients’ businesses.
- Play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of junior team members.
- Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to empower them to excel in their roles and careers.
- Lead by example in embracing continuous learning and professional growth.
- Encourage team members to expand their skillsets and remain abreast of industry trends.
- Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives by sharing insights on emerging trends, industry developments, and best practices.
- Author articles, participate in seminars, and engage in discussions that showcase the firm’s expertise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify innovative solutions that address client challenges and provide a competitive advantage for the firm.
- Champion the firm’s values, culture, and spirit of collaboration.
- Engage in cross‑functional teams and initiatives that drive positive change across the organization.
- Participate in knowledge‑sharing activities to disseminate best practices, tools, and methodologies that contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.
- Thorough working knowledge of UK GAAP, particularly FRS
102. - ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven expertise in business advisory across diverse industries.
- Demonstrated ability in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and owning client portfolios.
