Pipefitter, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Pipefitter to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Aberdeen area.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm

Salary: 38K - 41K (OT 1.5x weekdays and Saturday, 2x Sunday)

Daily Duties -

• Measure, cut, shape, and bend steel piping sections to size and tolerance
• Carry out welding processes e.g. MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-core in various positions
• Prepare steel pipes, fabricate and assemble piping systems, install and secure via supports or brackets
• Can tack weld pipework fabrications e.g. carbon steel, duplex, stainless steel, aluminium)
• Work to HSE and welding standards (ISO, ASME, AWS), customer specifications, company work instructions, and route cards

Candidate Requirements -

• SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant trade qualification or time served Pipefitter with
• Minimum 3 years' post qualified experience within an engineering environment
• Proficient with hand and power tools, pipe fitters' tools, grinders, cutting torches etc.
• Full UK Driving Licence
