Job SummaryMechanical Fitter – Cementing Equipment Rebuild
Key Responsibilities- Strip, inspect, and rebuild cement mixing and pumping equipment.
- Follow Halliburton management systems, checklists, and safety procedures.
- Assemble mechanical components, ensuring correct fitting, alignment, and adjustment.
- Support acceptance testing and ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
- Perform general workshop tasks, including cleaning parts and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Assist with yard and workshop organisation as required.
- Work under general supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Technical School certificate and 1–2 years of mechanical fitting or assembly experience.
- Experience working with engines, hydraulic components, thread awareness and control equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and complete checklists and follow structured processes.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Rigging and overhead / gantry crane experience.
- Forklift truck licence.
This is a workshop-based role in Dyce, requiring good hands‑on mechanical fitting skills.
