Diabetes Nurse Specialist Secondary Care Services
Maternity Cover (Fixed Term / Secondment)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Diabetes Nurse Specialist (Band
6) to join our Grampian Diabetes Nursing Team for 22.5 hours per week on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract or secondment to cover maternity leave.

This role involves working across acute services and managing a varied caseload, including people with Type 1 diabetes, complex Type 2 diabetes, and other forms of diabetes
. You will also play a key role in supporting and educating other healthcare professionals on diabetes care and management
.

• Strong knowledge of diabetes technologies
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care
