Research Nurse Haematology Cancer Trials
Fixed term 11 month
Band 5/6 depending on nursing experience
The clinical research portfolio within NHS Grampian is continuing to expand. We are looking for a registered nurse to be part of an exciting and challenging research post, based in the Haematology Research department within ARI. This post could be suitable as a secondment.
We are looking to recruit an innovative and enthusiastic registered nurse with experience in clinical research. Previous experience within clinical research or haematology would be advantageous. Without the required experience, this post would be offered as a band 5.
Responsibilities- Delivery of direct care and treatments of participants in haematology research trials.
- Trial set‑up processes, recruitment, monitoring of study patients, collection of accurate data and liaising with data monitors.
- Work under the direction of Haematologists, with additional guidance from the research team and Senior Research Nurse.
- Collaborate with the established team of research nurses and data managers.
- Manage a caseload appropriate to the highest standard expected within clinical research.
- Registered Nurse.
- Experience in clinical research and/or haematology (advantageous).
