HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £26,500 – £27,500 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full time: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver at Pitreavie Packaging

• Daily walk around vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Delivering to multiple customer sites – meeting the allocated delivery time slots
• Communicating with the office regularly to ensure customers are kept up to date with deliveries
• Ensuring all paperwork relating to the delivery is completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of your vehicle and all vehicles on site
• Adhere to all company and site rules & policies at all times

• Hold the relevant license for Class 2 (C2) entitlement for a minimum one year (applications from newly qualified drivers will be accepted)
• Hold a valid driver CPC / Tacho Qualification card
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and Working Time Directive
• Excellent communication skills – for communicating with office and customers
• Attention to detail
• Quick decision‑making skills
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Abide by all Highway Code regulations
• Comply with all Health and Safety measures
• Flexibility to drive a 3.5 tn vehicle where business needs dictate
• Flexible to early morning staggered start times 06.00 – 10.00am
